Location scouting in NYC
Tell us what the shot needs. We find the place, check that it works on the day, and deal with the building.
Free location matching
Send the brief: the look, the dates, crew size, budget and anything the location must have. We come back with options that fit, each with a tech scout sheet. Productions pay nothing for this. Locations pay us a referral commission when you book.
Scouting on request
If the look is not on this site, we go find it. Brownstones, warehouses, rooftops, prewar apartments, storefronts, diners and offices across the five boroughs. You get photos, measurements, power and access notes, and a contact who can say yes.
Tech scouts and day-of support
We can walk the location with your DP, gaffer and AD, and we can put a location rep on set to handle the building on the day. Scouting packages are quoted per project.
Paperwork with the building
We send the building's COI requirements, confirm hours and load-in in writing, and tell you whether your plan needs a MOME film permit.
Holding and basecamp
Shooting at a street location in lower Manhattan? You can book holding space at 393 Broadway for wardrobe, glam, catering and video village.
